On our way out of Vegas we went to the not so glitzy part of town to shop some old vintage stores. They were all on the same street mixed in with other consignment stores. These are some of the treasures that we found. Greg and I were loving this chandelier. We have been wanting to replace our light in the entry and this would have been perfect. However, it was $3,000 and sold. Apparently it was made by an Austrian company that is still around. Each crystal was hand cut. Perfect for our house, right? We still wish it was ours!
After shopping and picking up some fun vintage jewelry we headed to St. George for some R and R.
We saw two movies:
Our review–Wait for the Redbox
Our review–A must see! One of the best films I have seen.
Shopped some more vintage shops:
We bought this great side table for our family room…pics to come.
And ate at one of our favorite restaurants in St. George:
Basil Pesto Pasta with Chicken–super fresh homemade pesto. This is my favorite.
Smoked Turkey Panini–nothing like a good hot sandwich on a rainy day.
Chocolate Cupcake with Raspberry Frosting–so good, like a yummy slice of cake packed with chocolate chips and the frosting is made from fresh strawberries. (Tip: cupcakes sell for $1 after 7:00 p.m.)
We are back to our life and R and R is a distant memory! Thanks for coming along as we revisited the highlights of our trip.

That food looks delicious! We will have to go to that restaurant sometime. I’m glad you were able to get away and relax.
