We are thrilled to have received the prestigious Liebster Blog Award from the great people, Craig and Megan, at The Sunday Bottles. They cook some amazing dishes and their photography is outstanding. Check them out!

You might be asking yourself what is the Liebster Blog Award?

The Leibster Award is about promoting smaller blogs, less than 200 followers, which you think deserve special recognition. Here are a couple of rules of the award:

1. Copy and paste the award onto your blog.
2. Thank the person that gave you the award and put a link back to their blog.
3. Choose 5 more blogs to award and let the writers know by leaving a comment.

It has taken us a couple of weeks to decide which blogs to pass the award to because there are just so many great blogs out there!

The Leibster Award goes to…(drum roll)…in no particular order…(another drum roll)..:

What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas

They say that what happens in Vegas should really stay in Vegas, well not this time. We are going to break with tradition. Andrea and I have the chance to take a few days to ourselves and head down to Vegas for a few days and then up to St. George for a few more days, without kids. Did you get that last part, no kids! We love our little rugrats but it’s always nice to take a few days just the two of us.

We decided it would be fun to take you along, in a way…We have been through Vegas several times but never actually stayed there. It’s going to be nice to stay in a posh Vegas hotel, eat some outstanding food, hopefully see a show and I am sure we will mix in some great shopping. We hope to hit some great vintage shops and a good friend of ours told us about this cool place to go see the old neon Vegas signs. We will take lots of photos and let you know what makes our Vegas Top Ten List.

Viva Las Vegas!!

Disclaimer: Remember that we are two, 34-year-old exhausted parents so there will be nothing scandalous about this trip, sorry to disappoint!
